Brenika Banks, Multimedia Journalist

Brenika Banks was born in Bermuda and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Her love and enjoyment of writing began in middle school. Her journalism studies were obtained at Baruch College in New York, NY. Banks is a multimedia journalist for the New York Amsterdam News in Harlem, New York City. She recognizes the importance of arts, culture and entrepreneurship stories for Black and Latinx communities. She edits, produces and creates video stories. Banks is an excellent writer with stellar grammatical skills and attention to detail. Every great story is all about the details. She is a multitasker, quick learner and always motivated for greatness.
